Oldtimer Bohemia Rally 2011 – FIVA A 1.-3. Semptember 2011
On the basis of the Historical Cars Club Mladá Boleslav´s request and a high rating of the 1st year of the Oldtimer Bohemia Rally 2010 – FIVA A by the international FIVA steward, FIVA agreed with the next year´s licence for the rally.
This rally (licence no. FIVA A 20/2011) is being prepared by Mladá Boleslav town together with the Historical Cars Club Mladá Boleslav. It will take place at the very beginning of September 2011 (1. 9 – 3. 9. 2011).
The name of the event is going to be slightly changed into the 2nd Oldtimer Bohemia Rally 2011 - FIVA A. The team of organizers is already preparing a basic koncept of the rally. The race is going to have several stages again. The 1st stage will take place in the evening on 1. 9. 2011. All other stages are being discussed at the moment. All morning stages will start from The Oldtown Square in Mladá Boleslav. The centre of the event will be the area of the Skoda University Na Karmeli in Mladá Boleslav again.
The organizers are preparing a race for approximately 75 – 80 crews in several categories, from 1904 to 1980. All vehicles must have the FIVA identification, which is a requirement for all Worldwide Championships of historical cars. The Historical Cars Club Mladá Boleslav is able to obtain this identification for everyone who doesn´t have it yet.
There will be only 21 FIVA licensed historical cars events during the year 2011, which means that the Czech Republic and Mladá Boleslav have the honour to become organizers of only one of the few prestigious historical cars rallies worldwide.
